The Autel Robotics EVO II Dual camera is a combination 8K camera and a FLIR Bosen thermal camera with zoom capabilities. The 1/2-inch CMOS sensor has a 14mm lens, a resolution quality of 640 x 512 @ 60fps. It is non-radiometric and will have a 32° horizontal field of view. This camera supports 4K-30fps, 1080p-30fps and 720p-30fps. Max image size is 8000x6000. When recording in dual simultaneous mode, 720p-30fps is the output. Refresh rate is set to 30-hertz.


The EVO II Dual is an ITAR regulated item, screening is required for purchase.


The drone has a 9-km (5.59 mile range) and 360° collision avoidance. 12 computer vision sensors controlled by a dual-core processor and AI machine learning makes possible omni-directional protection. Begin detecting potential hazards up to 30 meters away and let the EVO II accurately control the speed of the drone to avoid a collision. Optionally disable obstacle avoidance and use the radar feature to still provide alerts while maintaining full control of the aircraft! This drone has been tested and is capable of flying in Level-8 wind conditions (46-mph)! 

Using the same 12 computer vision sensors, the EVO II can navigate itself in all directions while avoiding obstacles!

The EVO II Series features the longest battery life of any foldable drone (up to 40-minutes of flight time). With a top speed of 45mph and up to 9km (5.5 mile) video transmission range, you can now go further and faster. EVO II presents an all new sensor and storage package and omnibus-directional obstacle avoidance.

With interchangable camera's, there no longer is a limitation to your aircraft. Standalone camera's will be available separately. These cameras are not hot-swappable and it is not recommended to change these in the field.

EVO II comes standard with a 7100 mAh rechargeable battery. Providing up to 40-min of flight time in forward motion and 35-min at a hover. Patented "battlock system" guards against battery ejection during high-speed maneuvers or hard landings.

This drone is compatible with the LiveDeck system with a simple change of one of the two external antennas. The EVO II drone can broadcast video signal up to 5.5 miles away. The video signal also is broadcasted to the EVO II controller for display on either the onboard 3.3-inch LED screen or to the Autel Explorer mobile application when a mobile device is connected to the controller.

This EVO II (Dual) is an ITAR regulated product that utilizes a non-radiometric Bosen camera. It has a longwave infrared 7.5 µm – 13.5 µm (micrometer) spectral range and a 60 Hz refresh rate, set at 30 Hz.  

Frame rate is the rate at which the infrared detector creates images. For a 9 Hz camera it does so 9 times per second, and for a 60 Hz camera 60 times per seconds. The difference between 9 Hz and 30 Hz is hardly visible, only when you move the camera or the target is moving can you see that the 9 Hz image updated in small steps.
