Influential Drones specializes in aerial services, training, consulting and equipment sales. Our mission is to help unleash the potential ability of those we serve through training services and equipment support of unmanned systems.

The company supplies drones, counter-UAS equipment, accessories and software solutions to customers through authorized dealer and reseller relationships. The bulk of our Bookkeeping duties are centered around Accounts Payable/Receivable task handling, responding to emails, logging various transactions, keeping systems updated, and list and data management.

We are looking to add an organized, self-starting accounting professional to our small team to help us manage our financial affairs. With the right personality, this role has the potential to turn into more than simplebookkeeping over time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This candidate will be responsible for financial accounting, some reporting and analysis, budgeting, driving operating performance and aligning decision making with the business' key performance indicators. Requires working closely with operators in a cross-functional and fast paced environment.

• Liaise with vendors, suppliers and clients to handle daily financial transactions including receiving and matching invoices, account coding, preparation of disbursements, billing, processing of invoices, and record keeping.
• Financial Accounting: Maintain complete and accurate accounting of all business activity using QuickBooks. Ensure all external operating partners are properly folded into company processes and are in compliance with contractual terms.
• Reporting, Analysis and Budget Preparation: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis including weekly/monthly financial reporting packages addressing budget variances, cash position and status of current projects.  

• Maximize Operational Efficiencies: Ensure a “no surprises” environment. Leverage relationships with operating partners to optimize efficiencies, state compliance reporting and influence behavior. Over time, develop and implement accounting policies, coordination of systems and procedures
• Drive Performance: Partner with senior management and team members to maximize operational efficiencies by implementing/strengthening financial tools, metrics, and processes to drive business performance.  
• Special Projects: Lead QuickBooks optimization,  both analytical and process improvement (i.e.: improved management reporting, operational processes, etc.).  Extend findings to provide meaningful recommendations.

SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

• Able to manage own time, motivated by completing tasks effectively
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills with professional phone and email manner
• Able to work in an autonomous manner and with discretion where required for confidential projects
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Solid analytical abilities required including advanced Excel skills
• Computer literate with proficient knowledge of MS Office 365
• Hands-on experience with Quickbooks essential
• Must be a resourceful problem solver, with the ability to prioritize and improve processes
• Flexible team player with a can do attitude
• Clear logical thinking with ability to succinctly interpret data to frame business opportunities/issues

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

• 3+ years: Proven experience in Accounting/Finance role
• Experience in customer service preferred but not essential
• Undergraduate degree (required)

Customer Success Representative (Sales)

Job Type: Full Time ideally but Part Time may be considered for the right candidate

RESPONSIBILITIES

This candidate will be responsible for financial accounting, reporting, analysis, budgeting, driving operating performance and aligning decision making with the business' key performance indicators. Requires working closely with operators in a cross-functional and fast paced environment.

• Answer calls/emails and set up virtual meetings with existing and potential clients
• Follow up on leads and make outgoing calls with view of creating relationships resulting in potential service jobs or equipment sales
• Provide superior customer service by assessing customers’ needs and providing estimates and assistance for Service jobs and on drone products, software and accessories
• Manage, build and maintain productive trusted relationships with suppliers and clients
• Maintain excellent levels of customer satisfaction including handling occasional complaints or merchandise returns and reviews

• Remain current on new technology, help troubleshoot technical queries and aid customers with product queries
• Process online and POS (point of sale) transactions
• Ship items from ID HQ when necessary
• Help to maintain the online store’s products for accuracy
• Communicate with vendors and partners, to help identify procurement bottlenecks and track lead time frames to accurately manage customers’ expectations
• Stay within profit margins for each transaction to maximize client’s value and savings
• Create and design sales bundles and promotions

SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

• Solid communication and interpersonal skills with professional phone and email manner, with ability to operate on all seniority levels
• Able to work in an autonomous manner
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Basic Math skills
• Computer literate with proficient knowledge of MS Office
• Hands-on experience with CRM (ideally Hubspot), POS (ideally Shopify) transactions or online store management preferred
• Fast learner, with thorough understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Flexible team player willing and able to learn and extend transferable skills to other parts of the business as and when required

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

• 5 years: Proven experience as a Sales Representative or relevant role
• 2 years: Customer Service experience
• Knowledge and experience of drone industry preferred
• An ideal candidate would be P107 certified
• Experience in sourcing and supply chain is a plus
• Undergraduate degree (required)
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and mobile phone
• Unrestricted US work authorization (required)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Willingness to represent the company in conferences, product demonstrations and outreach opportunities

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Executive Assistant sits in the front office reception area and works directly with executive leadership to provide comprehensive administrative support. Responsibilities include clerical tasks, improving company processes and customer service handling. Requires working closely with operators in a cross-functional environment and using initiative to manage own time efficiently. 

• Handle incoming calls, correspondence, requests and queries addressed to executive leadership
• Maintain polished and professional communications via phone, email and mail
• Greet visitors and receive deliveries. Occasional packaging of boxes. Trips to UPS or USPS desired but not essential.
• Basic financial transactions such as assisting in the account collections for open invoices, generating receipts or logging/filing payments made and/or received.
• Order Office supplies and manage small inventory of office and/or drone products
• Maximize Operational Efficiencies: Ensure a “no surprises” environment.  Leverage relationships with operating partners to optimize efficiencies, state compliance reporting and influence behavior. Over time, develop and implement Quality policies, coordination of systems and procedures.

• Organize and manage company and client files, virtually and physically.
• Track, record and process a variety of reports around procurement and supply chain of shipments
• Organize and coordinate meetings, events and client visits, Service appointments or Training sessions (scheduling, meeting invites, prepare agendas and collect and distribute associated materials)
• Organizing occasional travel or accommodation arrangements for staff members
• Website monitoring and updating of incorrect information provided by Sales team
• Asset management. Improving and then maintaining ongoing list of company assets including valuations using online resources and tagging of products
• Special Projects: job functions could include ad-hoc HR tasks, designing marketing mailers using existing manufacturer templates and creating mailing lists from our CRM for campaigns.
