Hi, I'm Emily Hines, founder of Buzz My Property

My passion for flight started at 16 years old, when I first jumped off the side of a cliff attached to a paraglider in France. It then ramped up 2 years later when I completed my skydiving license.

At 18, I deferred my college entry to take a gap year and traveled around, working at a skydiving center in the summer where I completed my first 200 jumps.  I then attended college as planned (in the United Kingdom) but had to have just one more gap year after I graduated, this time to complete a round-the-world backpacking trip, which started with doing several hundred jumps in a number of different continents. Several thousands of jumps and one shiny National Skydiving Medal later, I became a qualified pilot flying small aircraft up and down the Hudson, over the Poconos, down to Florida and eventually to Wisconsin for the world’s largest aviation party Oshkosh.

This in turn opened up more doors and led me to my interest in aerial drone photography and inspired me to create my drone business. I think it’s fair to say that all things flight-related are my happy place! Through my passion for flying, my aim is to run a business with a professional, simple and transparent model which exceeds your expectations. Pre-Flight and General Provisions

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
  The deposit is payable when you book our services. This is fully refundable up to 24 hours before the agreed time of shoot (48 hours for commercial bookings). The balance will be invoiced after the videos/photos have been delivered to your satisfaction and is payable within 15 days.

CANCELLATIONS
  If you cancel the shoot more than 24 hours before the agreed time, your deposit will be refunded in full. Cancellations within 24 hours are non refundable. (48 hours for commercial bookings).
 
INCLEMENT WEATHER
  The safe operation of our drones can only be performed within weather parameters and legal requirements as specified by the FAA. In order to get the best quality photos, we try to shoot during optimal light conditions and with as little foot traffic as possible on location. We will bear this in mind at the time of booking but may need to reschedule the shoot due to inclement weather. Rescheduling is free of charge.

TRAVEL
  The cost of travel is incorporated in our pricing structure up to 25 miles from 08003. For jobs further afield, we will add $2 per extra mile.

Post-Flight and Project Deliverable

FINAL PRODUCT DELIVERY - FORMAT
  work fast to get your photos and videos to you. Our aim is to deliver the first copy of photos/video in no more than 72 hours (3 days) from the shoot. If we go over this deadline, you will get a 10% discount off your photo and/or video cost. The results will be delivered in electronic format. Photos: We always take more photos than requested to give you a choice. You choose which ones to purchase from the email we will send you of watermarked JPEGs. On request, we can further adjust the images, for example by cropping or zooming the photo, enhancements or adding special effects. Having decided which photos to purchase, we will remove the watermark on those of your choice and invoice the outstanding balance.Videos: Our videos are shot in HD. Our  edits aspire to produce a logically-flowing, attractive video to which music can be added free of charge. The completed product will be uploaded to a YouTube page, to which you will receive the URL. Should you not be satisfied with the finished product, 2 free revisions may be requested (for example, change of music choice or change of text overlay from "Our home" to "Smith Family Home 2017"). Additional changes can be made for a small fee, discussed with you in advance.

FINAL PRODUCT DELIVERY - TIMESCALE
  We aim to deliver our edited videos and photos within 72 hours. If you need it sooner than that, our rush order service charges are a flat fee of $15 for photos or $50 for videos. (This is a single cost, you don't pay that per photo or per video). This surcharge is added to your final invoice.

WILL GETTING DRONE FOOTAGE INCREASE MY CHANGES OF SELLING MY PROPERTY?

  David Young states that "According to MLS statistics, homes with aerial images sold 68 percent faster than homes with standard images" and "According to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), 73 percent of homeowners say that they are more likely to list with a real estate agent who uses video to market their home; however, only 9 percent of agents create listing videos." So, if you want to get ahead of the competition and get that listing sold....you know what to do!


DOES BUZZ MY PROPERTY OFFER INDOOR PHOTOGRAPHY?

  Yes! Whilst our current expertise at Buzz My Property is aerial outdoor photography, we can also offer a sin
gle integrated package in conjunction with our selected outstanding professional partners who offer indoor photography.  We can offer you a single package to include indoor photos and aerial drone work together so that you only need to deal with one person at any time.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PROPERTY FALLS IN RESTRICTED AIRSPACE?

  Soon after discussing your specific requirements our pilots complete a checklist which includes reviewing any airspace restrictions around your area. Restrictions can pop up at any time so these are checked frequently. In some instances clearance from an associated Air Traffic Control is required for us to fly. We do all that we can to ensure that we are able to fulfill your aerial drone needs, but we would notify you immediately and refund your prepaid call out fee if, for any reason, we believe that we could not carry out the requested work safely or legally.

WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE MY PHOTOS OR VIDEO?

  We aim to meet and exceed all of our customers' expectations with the photos and videos produced. In the very unlikely event that you don't like our work, we would keep the call out fee and not invoice you further for associated photos or videos. Note that we always take more photos than requested to ensure that you can select your favorites, and that you are allowed up to 2 revisions which are included in the cost. Further changes can be made to the photos or videos at an additional cost to be discussed depending on the scope of the work.


CAN YOU SELL US RAW VIDEO FOOTAGE THAT YOU HAVE CAPTURED SO THAT WE CAN EDIT IT OURSELVES?

  If a client wants to edit their own video footage from our raw material, we would work out a customized package deal for the amount of footage required and sell you the rights to the material. Call us to discuss!


WHO OWNS THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF THE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS PRODUCED BY BUZZ MY PROPERTY?

  Buzz My Property is the sole and exclusive owner of any and all copyrights and any other IP that may apply to the photos and videos produced. You would not be allowed to modify photos or videos without our agreement.

Pricing for Aerial Photography

IT DEPENDS ON THE PROJECT! 
  Every project we work on brings unique challenges and many factors are taken into consideration when we create customized quotes.

  Unfortunately, there is no magic formula because each client comes to us with bespoke needs in a range of different airspace with specific access or obstacle challenges and when it comes to droning, one size does not fit all.  However, allow us to break down for you what is involved in droning when creating pricing structures and try to get you a ballpark figure.

FIRST, THE CALL OUT FEE
  The call out fee for all realtors and private clients is $115. For commercial properties, it is $250. This secures  services on-site and associated project costs (travel to the location, weather checks, management of air traffic restrictions, preliminary risk assessment of technical challenges or obstacles to avoid on location, assessment of equipment and personnel needed,  insurance as needed and basic post-production in the studio to adjust and edit photos/videos.) It is payable up front at the time of booking and refundable up to 24 hours before the shoot (48 hours for commercial properties).

THEN, THE PROJECT COST
  This varies according to the manpower and equipment we will require to complete your   job to your satisfaction and starts as low as 15 dollars per photo. We will also consider total shooting time on the job, anticipated post-production time and amount of photos/videos required.

SO, WHAT'S THE BALLPARK FIGURE?
  To give you an idea, if you are a realtor requiring a small number of HD still photos of a single family home and you are within 25 miles of Cherry Hill area, budget around $150 for the job. If you are in the same area but looking for a complete package to include HD photos and a luxurious video of a large multi-million dollar home, you would budget closer to $450.
