Dave Krause, co-owner of Influential Drones accepted a position working with TaskGroup 8 advising the FAA's Drone Advisory Committee. TaskGroup 8 is responsible for providing advise and recommendations regarding Safety Culture. A report will be presented to the Drone Advisory Committee while in session. The Committee is a broad-based, long-term Federal advisory group that provide the FAA with advice on key UAS integration issues by helping to identify challenges and prioritize improvements.
The committee consists of industry leaders and subject matter experts who are involved with the aerospace industry. Krause will work within the Small Commercial sub-group.
All DAC meetings are open to the public and all meeting materials are publicly available, subject to the Freedom of Information Act.
