Equipped with nine sensors, Inspire 3 has a robust omnidirectional detection system capable of detecting obstacles in all directions and ensuring optimal protection in flight (The obstacle detection feature is disabled when the landing gear is extended or retracted. When the landing gear is lowered, you have a blind spot of approximately 20° at the front left and front right ends of the aircraft to avoid obstacles.)

For the first time, a fisheye camera has been added to each of the four landing arms. This all-new design prevents obstruction of the aerial platform when the landing gear is raised and detects horizontal obstacles when it is lowered.

The Inspire 3 has a new customizable feature for increased flight safety and creative freedom. Horizontal, upward and downward obstacle detection can be independently turned on or off, and an obstacle alert range can be manually set to suit different scenarios (Custom braking range for obstacle avoidance: 2 to 10 m horizontally, 1 to 3 m upward and 1 m downward. Customized warning range for obstacle detection: 2.1 to 30 m horizontally, 1.1 to 10 m up and 1.1 to 10 m down).

If the active avoidance feature is disabled, the user can still view the distance to an obstacle in real time on the navigation screen and receive an audible alert when approaching an obstacle without the aircraft's automatic avoidance assistance. This feature opens up new possibilities for professional flight crews who want to use a more complex camera language.

Inspire 3 features a new 1/1.8-inch sensor FPV camera with a pixel size of 3 μm, an ultra-wide DFOV of 161° and live streaming capability up to 1080p/60 fps. Also, compared to its predecessor, its DFOV is approximately doubled. This FPV camera offers the most impressive light detection capability, allowing pilots to observe their surroundings vividly and clearly, even at night, for better flight safety.

Compared to its predecessor, the Inspire 3's dual control experience has been significantly improved. Two radio controls can receive live feeds and control the drone independently, allowing the pilot and the pod operator to occupy different positions on the platform. This evolution breaks with the limits of the Inspire 2 model, characterized by the coupling of the primary and secondary control links.

If the pilot loses the aircraft's signal, the pod operator is now able to take control of the aircraft to return safely to its starting point or to land directly.

This aircraft uses the TB51 dual battery system. Unlike the TB50 batteries, the TB51 batteries are smaller, lighter, more aerodynamic and have a higher voltage. They offer a maximum flight time of 28 minutes and allow hot swapping thanks to a new battery opening system that allows continuous operation without effort. In temperatures below 18° C (64° F), the battery triggers an automatic heating function, ensuring adequate flight performance even in temperatures as low as -20° C (-4° F).

The drone kit includes the 'DJI Zenmuse X9-8K Air' full-frame camera pod. The Zenmuse X9-8K Air system uses interchangeable lenses, the equipment has the CineCore 3.0 processing system that records in CinemaDNG and Apple ProRes RAW in 8K at 25 and 75 fps respectively, and can also record in ProRes RAW at 8K and 120 fps in S&Q mode. With details such as dual native ISO, 14 stops of dynamic range, or the DJI Cinema Color System, the machine is perfect for both operators and video producers.Compatible lens are available for an additional cost.
