The AVSS Parachute Recovery System easily integrates into your existing flight mission. The attachment bracket secures the parachute system to the aircraft without interfering with sensitive GPS modules. The component consists of an electronic module to power the Parachute Pod™ and flight termination system. The onboard system comes equipped with an automatic triggering device to deploy the drone parachute.

For end users in the European Union, this system is your choice for EASA MOC 2511 (Enhanced Containment) requirements.

Disclaimer: Please note that AVSS products notoriously have a long lead time and that in case of purchase, you are required to keep the original packaging the PRS (Parachute Recovery System) comes in. The PRS uses a pyrotechnic charge to deploy at altitude in case of crash/motor failure and is considered to be a dangerous good. For that reason, the original box which it is delivered in is "UN"-compliant (meaning suitable for shipping despite the 'dangerous goods'). In 12 months from receipt, the same PRS will need to be reshipped back to the manufacturer to be repacked, and AVSS will charge you for another UN-box if the original has been discarded.
