Designed for Professionals who have completed basic training or possess equivalent experience. This is the second of two mapping classes offered in 2026 at IFD HQ. The “Basic” version is scheduled/took place Aug 29-30.

This advanced Pix4D mapping class focuses on post-flight data processing and advanced mapping workflows, enabling you to excel in aerial data analysis and modeling.
Coaching of students is performed by experienced Pix4D-certified instructors. Unlike the basic course, this program does not include flying.  Space is limited. Key Features:
•    Emphasis on data integrity, workflow efficiency, and professional-grade outputs.
•    Perfect for those seeking mastery in Pix4D and advanced mapping applications.

SKILLS COVERED 

•    Advanced Photogrammetry: Optimize image alignment and reconstruction for high-precision outputs.
•    Data Cleanup & Quality Control: Remove noise, correct errors, and validate datasets.
•    Project Merging: Combine multiple missions into a single cohesive project.
•    Integration of External Data Sets: Incorporate GIS layers, CAD files, and ground control points for enhanced accuracy.
•    Advanced Point Cloud Editing: Classify, filter, and refine point clouds for specialized applications.
•    3D Modeling & Texturing: Generate detailed models for infrastructure, terrain, and complex environments.
•    Orthomosaic Optimization: Improve resolution and accuracy for professional-grade deliverables.
•    Volume & Surface Analysis: Perform calculations for stockpile measurements and terrain modeling.

This training is open to all P107 certification and/or COA-holders. This is the second of two mapping classes offered in 2026 at IFD HQ. The “Basic” version is scheduled/took place Aug 29-30. To successfully complete this training students must attend both days. Participants must bring their own laptop computer with fully charged power system. No drone flying is anticipated in this class. Digital credential will be issued upon completion.
